lol why are you getting expensive grippy summer tires for your daily? Also you are forgetting to add in shipping for tire rack.

yea but shipping doesn't change much.

I have winter rims/tires so I can have grippy summer tires at other times. I hate floaty feelings and tires are the cheapest way to get much more out of a regular car.

I have the Toyo R1R and I love them, I had a great amount of grip on my 86!

I had Falken 512's on my AE86 and loved them! But seriously, I'm a Yokohama man. I'd go with either of those.

Help yoshi pick a tire for his DD

I'm in the hunt for a pair of 195/50 R15s for my front wheels for drifting. Should I follow the same suggestions in this thread?
Sway is like a race horse; if you push it sometimes, it's ok, but if you are hard on it all the time, then it's going to break its ankle and then you will have to shoot it.

Oh, I love the grip and tread life of Yokohamas, as well as the predictability of traction loss and sidewall stiffness, and they've been on touring cars I've driven (obviously slicks, so it's not applicable here), so I just have a history with them. The only other road tires I have experience with are Toyos and Falkens.
