I believe you. $20 is fine to spend on a tool. $60 is kinda... meh. We'll see. Pretty strapped for cash lately. My current wire stripper works well enough for now? I dunno. I'm more concerned with my wiring job not being shit lol.

My only advice is make sure everything's good'n'tight. I had a problem with one of those autozone/wherever fuse blocks not having the best of internal connections. Every time I'd hit a bump with a fair amount/alot of throttle my ignition would cut out... so I got another box. Probably unnecessary, but I also coated the pins of the fuses with dielectric grease to MAKE SURE I was getting a good connection. It was quite irritating :x

Probably not. I only go on drift days :)

I should update this more often. I'm busy with Formula D and probably the most budget restricted this year than I've ever been in the past decade. So progress is slow and what I do buy is super cheap. YAY!

Here's to start you off with what it's like working without a garage and in mosquito heaven.

Engine bay shots for those who haven't seen it recently.

Had a diff spacer set I wasn't using and decided to try it out as hood raisers. I don't think it raises it enough and google searching says it's hit or miss on whether or not it actually does anything for temps. I'm trying to get airflow past the brake hydro area.

Ignore the body panel gaps. Look at the hood gap.

Sikky is making an LS/T56 specific shift knob made of poly and some machined aluminum parts. I want it. But I needed something for now. Athletic tape and a pipe I had laying around works well for now. I also want to put the check panel back where it was but I don't have any of that interior left. Thoughts?

Took the car to work a few times. Here's a basic garage shot.

Groceries!

And $6 worth of shit badges at autozone. I'll get the real stuff one day. Don't care enough for anything right now.

ToDo list includes:
Heat shield for hydro
Coolant gauge
Better hood risers/raisers/whatever
catch can plumbed back into intake (needs tig work)
oil cooler
ps cooler
Body work/paint
Shorten skid plate

I like the can in the engine bay lol. Currently have a mountain dew bottle because I can't find my coolant overflow tank

Yea... so much on my todo list, it's insane. Hopefully I'll get some time to button things up. Gotta get that coolant gauge in soon.

You'll manage to chip away at it; and then it shall be gloriously sweet when you let the dead goat roar in anger. ;)

Been busy. Haven't been able to do much. I did pick up this AEM coolant temp gauge in exchange for some manual labor (lulz). Super easy to wire in but I didn't do it the way I want to. When I get more gauges, I plan to run a separate relay for just gauges. For now, it's paired in with the stereo signal wire.

I also want to drill out the clock face that used to be in this spot so it actually fits in. No idea where future gauges will go though. I at least want an oil pressure gauge.

100 DoD prep:
Finish scraping off stickers
At least get the catch can vc side working and the unit mounted
Alignment (0 toe FTW)
Sound deadening on the firewall
Mount rear speakers properly
Sexy right side up ceiling go pro mount
Super glue on head unit face plate (mounting tab broke and it randomly pops out)
Gather spare bits
Serpentine belt tensioner
Finish fixing sun roof leak (JB weld ftw)
Check on brake system
check/change oil

Maybe:
Fix AC cap thingy
Clean up foot well wiring so I don't kick it as I drive
