Idle bull.

'cause I'm bored, and wanted to blow a little dust off this place... (Hey, what can I say, I like it; even though I tend to roll over more than go sideways. (FWD + really soft suspension - ARB = Comedy!)) ...I thought I'd start thinking stupid things out loud.

Anywho.

At work, this afternoon, I got to 'play' with a coupla torque-monsters. Okay, I was meant to be just taking them 'round and parking them up, but y'know how your right foot just... slips a little, right? Right? *ahem* Well, they were both flashing away the Traction Control light; but the ease at which I was slipping those rear wheels, even with the ECM doing its best to stop me, on slightly dusty tarmac got me thinking...

When I eventually (ha! Hahahahaha! Haaaaaaa!) get my own workshop place, I should probably pick up a well-(ab)used R480 for some butchery, lunacy, and all that other good stuff. I mean, what's not to like about a 480HP (in stock "leather, quietness, and fuel economy" form) straight-six spinning up 295/80R22.5s? (Other than "£300 per tyre, if you get the LingLong DitchFinders made of recycled condoms" )

(Can you tell where my mind's at, yet? Not a new thing, by a long shot of the imagination; but not too many people are doing it... probably for good reason.)

Scania R480. :) (I was hoping that someone might spot what I was onto by the mention of 22.5s.)

Confusion is fine. That's mostly what I *do*; sow confusion and despair.

Driftimus! Or something.

"And this is where all the torques are kept."

(That one's a P-cab, though; so not quite as tall, which is probably better because it'll wobble around a lot less.)
