Re: Boost vs Displacement

If you have displacement on demand I believe the c6 z06 gets like 28mpg highway!

I have the 360hp/390tq hemi 5.7 in my grand cherokee. That thing weighs like 5000lbs and I still get 21mpg highway because it has the displacement on demand.

Re: Boost vs Displacement

Turbo 4 gets better gas mileage Track car: V8 has a more linear power curve and more instantaneous torque with no l...

Re: Pics/Video from VIR Skidpad Drift Practice 4-28-2012

so it's a big circle? What other event details were there? How many showed? It is a skidpad so you can drive it however you want. To get the longest highest speed drifts I was doing it in a circle when I set the camera up. I only filmed about 3 minutes total since it was just me there. Yeah it wasn...

Pics/Video from VIR Skidpad Drift Practice 4-28-2012

I had a really good time at VIR this past weekend doing a little bit of drifting and playing around on the skidpad. It feels good to get back into the car after it being down for about 9 months! Here is a video too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GUijZd-ltJ0 http://dl.dropbox.com/u/39875831/S14/IMG_...

Re: DN April afterness!

The same elements that make drifting a tough sport to raise money with are the ones that also make it so much fun in my opinion. 1. Most drifters are young and don't have a ton of money. DOWNSIDE: This means the tracks cant charge as high entry fees as they do for HPDE/RoadRace events or many drifte...
